This web design is based on two things: the GlobalSCAPE Amarillo web design and the painting by Maxfield Parrish titled "Lantern Bearers," seen on this page of the website, where you'll also find some other background tiles you might want to experiment with. The image of the painting used is available copyright free at pics.am.
All of the page layouts in the downloadable web design file follow the basic set-up of this page, with the right border showing and taking precedence over the top border, but the bottom border not showing. On some of the pages in this subdirectory, I've turned some borders and/or backgrounds on or off to show the different options available with the design, but that's done only in this specific subdirectory, not in the web design itself.
In order to make some of these options "hang together" better, I've decreased the height of the top border so that no white space shows between the black edging and the page body. I've also published this subdirectory without frames to avoid scroll bars as much as possible, although, as with any CSB web design, you can publish it either with or without frames.
